This provided Altadena residents with rare summer showers and a thunderstorm this evening.

This double Rainbow was seen at Sunset.

Kansas City Thunderstorm3142 viewsI was visiting Kansas City, MO and I was staying in the Downtown Marriott Hotel. A nice Thunderstorm was passing through and I was watching it out my window on the 14th Floor. I got to see several good lightning strikes and was able to capture this one with my camera. Taken with my Canon 5D, 30 second exposure @ f14, ISO 100.

Havasu Lightning2674 viewsI captured this lightning using my first Digital Camera, an Olympus C-5050Z. I had it in "Manual" mode set for the maximum exposure of 16 seconds. I took quite a few exposures this way during the lightning storm.

Mount Wilson Socked In2617 viewsThis was taken the morning of 9/15/06. We were on Mount Waterman (8,000 ft elev) setting up Radio Equipment for the upcoming Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run. Looking back at Mount Wilson (5700 ft elev), you could just see the antennas sticking up through the clouds.
