Mount Wilson Socked In3067 viewsThis was taken the morning of 9/15/06. We were on Mount Waterman (8,000 ft elev) setting up Radio Equipment for the upcoming Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run. Looking back at Mount Wilson (5700 ft elev), you could just see the antennas sticking up through the clouds.

We were heading West over Arizona and the hot afternoon Sun was creating some beautiful Cumulonimbus clouds. We were flying at approximately 32,000 Feet and the Thermal Convection was driving these clouds well above us. Taken July 23, 2007.
