Two Times The Fun658 viewsThis image clearly makes me think we have more than one bear visiting Holly Slope Rd. This ones color is more black and has what appears to be a White Chest Blaze. Maybe they are a couple?

Our Regular Bear694 viewsCritters are alive and well on Holly Slope. This Bear makes regular visits. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. Usually around Midnight. Leila and I ran into him one evening near the circle around 11pm on a late walk . Fortunately he wanted nothing to do with us and took off running across the dirt lot towards the ravine.

The Bear Is Back604 viewsThe Bear is back after a short hiatus. I had heard that Bears don’t hibernate in warm climates like Southern California but maybe this one actually did hibernate for a short time.

He was actually on the street 3 nights in a row this week. He got into trash cans on a couple of nights and left a large pile of Scat in the street. Leila was excited. She was picking up the Bear’s scent on our morning walk.

At Last681 viewsI set the CritterCam up in late November 2012. I checked the SD Memory Card each week to look for animals. It was a monotonous task going through each image one by one and deleting the ones I didn't want (which was most of them). Then one day I was scrolling through the images and came across this. I said out loud "holy S&#%".

677 viewsI continue to capture images of the Bear(s). As you'll see they are the second most common visitor.
